Our Aim as Zululand District Municipality is to ensure that when
customers have contact with Zululand District Municipality they
will consistently experience standards of service excellence. Our
Municipality is committed to ensuring that the Human Rights
Principles as set out in our Constitution, the eight Batho Pele
(People first) principles that aim to transform public service
delivery as well as getting it right the first time are experienced
whenever customers access our municipality services.
The Municipality has 2 dedicated
officials specifically assigned to Customer Care:
Mrs Busi Buthelezi is our
Senior Administrative Officer: Customer Care
Our customers include Creditors, debtors, Izinduna, Amakhosi,
Governmental Departments, Councilors etc. They are people who live
in or visit our Municipality and who do business with us. In this
sense we have both internal and external customers.
Our function is to ensure that queries are attended to both
telephonically and in person, to analyze queries received, identify
trends and compiling reports on findings, Review, implement and
monitor procedures to improve service delivery, logging of vacuum
tanker service request.
