The Zululand District Municipality hereby invites tenders for:
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TWO BASELINE CARS
FOR ZULULAND DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY
CONTRACT NO.: ZDM 062/2018
The rationale of this tender is to invite bids from suitable qualified service providers to bid for the Supply and Delivery of two baseline cars to the Zululand District Municipality.
It is important for the tenderer to seek clarity on the specification provided before returning the final offer to the Zululand District Municipality.
The 80/20 Procurement Preference Point System will apply for this one envelope tender system and stipulated minimum threshold for local production and content for this bid is 80%.
A minimum CPG partner of 30% may be applicable and required for this bid offer.
Please note that this tender will be evaluated administratively on compliance (returnables and completeness) and functionality.
The “Functionality Evaluation Criteria” will be applicable on this bid on functionality and compliance. A maximum weight of each criterion as indicated on bid functionality, with minimum threshold of not less than 70 percent, in respect of “CRITERION”
where the company scoring less will be regarded as submitting a non-responsive tender and will be disqualified.

Tender documents will then be sold on 13 June 2018 at Cashiers office from 10h30 to 15h00 only at Zululand District Municipality, Lot B-400 Gagane Street, Ulundi, 3838.
A R250.00 non-refundable deposit (Cash only) is required for each tender document drawn.
Tender closing date is: Friday, 29 June 2018 at 12h00.
Tender(s) received after closing time and date WILL NOT be accepted.
Duly completed tender documents SEALED IN AN ENVELOPE AND MARKED WITH A TENDER NUMBER AND THE CLOSING DATE as stated in the tender document are to be deposited into the tender box at Zululand District Municipality Foyer, Lot B-400 Ugagane Street, Ulundi, 3838 by no later than 12h00 on the closing date where they may be open in public. Telegraphic, telefaxed or posted tenders WILL NOT be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. requirements for sealing, addressing, delivering, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender data of this contract.
The Zululand District Municipality and its Bid Committee members does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender or to furnish any reasons for the acceptance or rejection of any tender on this contract.
