CONTRACT NO: ZDM 1042/2011SOVANA BULK GRAVITY AND RETICULATION


The project will consist of supplying, delivering and laying 7100m of 110 - 20mm diameter HDPE pipes, related valve chambers and community stand pipes. A CIDB contractor grading of 3CE is required. Work on these contracts will be in terms of the principles laid down by the Expanded Public Works Programme, whereby
the use of sustainable, labour-intensive methods utilising resources from the target community is to be optimised.


All those requiring tender documents must fax the relevant tender number, their company details and contact number to (034) 983-2945, before 12:00 on Wednesday, 1 February 2012.Tender documents will then be handed out at the compulsory clarification meeting, which will take place on
Thursday, 2 February 2012. Prospective tenderers are required to meet at 10:00 at Magudu (T-junction of R66 Pongola to Nongoma Road and R69 road from Louwsburg (27°33'45"S, 31°41'05"E)) from where tenderers will
travel in convoy to the site.


A R150.00 non-refundable deposit (cash only) is required for each tender document drawn.Enquiries can be directed to Mr Khumbulani Msane, tel. (034) 983-2825 during office hours.Tender closing time and date: 12:00 on Thursday, 16 February 2012.


Duly completed tender documents, sealed in an envelope marked with the tender number and the closing date, are to be deposited into the tender box at Zululand District Municipality, Lot B-400 Gagane Street, Ulundi 3838 by no later than 12:00 on the closing date, where they will be opened in public. Telegraphic, telefaxed or posted tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender data.
