                                               TENDER NOTICE


                    The Zululand District Municipality hereby invites tenders for:


TENDER NO: ZDM 1090/2012USUTHU RWSS PHASE 2: CONCRETE RESERVOIRS:
RESERVOIR H - MAHASHINI 2.4ML


The project comprises the construction of a reinforced concrete reservoir of 2.4Ml, including the installation of all associated fittings and pipe work as well as the construction of access roads and erection of fencing.It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB grading of 6CE or higher.


All those requiring tender documents must fax the relevant tender number, their company details and contact number to (034) 983-2750, before 12:00 on 22 March 2012.


Tender documents will be handed out only to those who have asked for documents as indicated above, at a compulsory clarification meeting at 10:00 on 28 March 2012. 


Prospective tenderers are required to meet at 10:00, just outside the main gate at ZDM office at B-400 Gagane Street, Ulundi. Prospective tenderers will have to follow the Engineer to the site with their own transport, by no later than exactly 10:15.A

R150.00 non-refundable deposit (cash only) is required for each tender document drawn.Enquiries can be directed to Mr F Burger, tel. (034) 983-2752 during office hours. Consultant: KV3 Engineers  (KV3/RAWS Joint Venture)

Tender closing time and date: 12:00 on Friday, 13 April 2012. Duly completed tender documents sealed in an envelope marked with the tender number and the closing date are to be deposited into the tender box at Zululand District Municipality, Lot B-400, Gagane Street, Ulundi 3838 by no later than 12:00 on the closing date, where they will be opened in public.

Telegraphic, telefaxed or posted tenders will not be accepted. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivering, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender data.

The tender box is only available during normal office hours from 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.


The Bid Committee of Zululand District Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
